Award in Door Supervision
It is now the law that you must have achieved an SIA security qualificationin door supervision, if you would like to work in the security industry as a Door Supervisor. The SIA (Security Industry Authority) is the authority who manages the licensing of the private security industry and set the standards of skills and professionalism within the private security industry.
Mantec offers SIA security courseslike Door Supervision and Security Guarding, in partnership with other training provider, which aimed at giving you the qualifications you need to obtain a license from SIA for your Door Supervision. You need to attend minmium 6 days classroom course during weekdays, weekends or evening sessions..
Who is the course for?
The purpose of the Door Supervisor award is to provide awareness of security issues to meet an increasing demand for well trained Door supervisors in the security sector.

Learners should have minimum language skills equivalent to the following;
How long is the course?
Learners are required to attend minimum of 6 days interactive sessions:
Learners must complete all four mandatory units totaling 8 credits in order to achieve this qualification.
Total qualification time (TQT):- 61 hours

Final Examination
A multiple-choice examination is taken at the end of each unit and both examinations. A pass rate of 70% or more is needed in both units to be successful and to attain the Accredited certificate from the awarding body.
